I'm trying to setup our What's Up Gold to monitor the RadiusNT service
without much luck.
I've seen messages posted here in the past about this, but never saw
anything from anyone saying "Yeay, it works now!"....
Does anyone know the EXACT way this should be setup in What's Up Gold?
Right now WUPG says the service is down, but it isn't.
I added an etry to my servers table for the monitor machine,
I made a subaccount called "wupg", with a password of "ANY",
---------------------------------
In What's Up Gold, I have a custom service setup for Radius:
Port 1645
Timeout 5
UDP
Send command on connect:
\aD/@,0123456789012345\a\fwupg\%18abcdefghijklmnop
Expected command response:
\cD\@
Send to disconnect:
QUIT\r\w
-------------------------
Here's the little blurb I see when I run radius -x15:
radrecv: Request from host 9bd40147 code=1, id=68, length=44 User-Name =
"wupg"
Ascend-Route-IPX = 945906275
rad_authenticate_ODBC() Sending Reject of id 68 to 9bd40147 (netmon.ids.net)
Authenticate: from netmon.ids.net - No Password
SQL Statement: INSERT INTO RadLogs(RadLogMsgID, LogDate, Username, Data,
CallerID) VALUES (52, GetDate(), 'wupg', 'netmon.ids.net', NULL)
Resp Time: 10 Auth: 17/6 -> 23 Acct: 24/0/0 -> 24
What am I missing? I reckon there must be SOMETHING!
Thanks,
Jim Whaley
