Danny,
You can't. You'll have to shut down the server to add another drive and
maybe another drive sled. You might want to look at a fiber channel
solution. Usually external drive enclosesures offer the best drive
reliability.
Also, you'll have to expand your partition if you expand your drive size.

Once I configure my system to do RAID 5 and my total disk space gets used
up, how do I expand it without downing my server ?
