This delay occurs regardless of subdirectories. Just yesterday, a user was trying to FTP files into
his directory--there are no subdirectories in his account. He had the nasty delays. It's not
related to the speed of his connection. I did it directly across the network here and it was still
incredibly slow.

I will state however, that there are 1195 files taking up 8,086,027 bytes in his one-and-only
directory.

The problem is that Serv-U (or the DLL?) seems to recalculate everything every time a file is
transferred.
