Take a look at JP Software's Take Command product.

Please let me know if this works out for you. I have used JP Software's
4DOS and 4NT products in the past and thoroughly enjoyed them, but I have
had no experience with Take Command and would really be interested in
knowing if it useful to you. My experience with their products is that they
seem to allow you to do the impossible... or at least what all the Unix guys
are always bragging about.
