We kept the CD-R on our mac because writing the windows files is no problem
on a mac. The files keep their foramt when you transfer them to a Macintosh
environment. As far as which CD-R we used...we have a Hi-Val IDE cd-r
(which we couldn't get to work with toast because Toast only reconizes SCSI
writers) and we have another no-name brand also.
hope this helps

possible to use two different CDR's, each on its own platform, with no
problems reading the final CD later ?
