We've been working with a PM4 for about 6 months now... not a bad unit, I
wouldn't call it carrier class yet. We have had some nagging issues with
it (like trouble busing out modems). It gets a bit better every 'release'.

Much like the 3com Hiper solution it's overall not bad, but not 100% there
yet. I'm also unsure of the future of the Ascend Max TNT (since Lucent
just bought Ascend), but I have heard that they were good (UUnet is built
around them).
