I have a cheap IDE CD that on occasion will cause my Win95 machine to take
nearly 10 minutes to boot. There must be an issue with IDE drives that
causes them to respond slowly at times. The thing works ok and if all is
well.. it only takes a minute to reboot but *on occasion* it will sit in the
black screen (loading drivers/testing drivers) for a good ten minutes and
then come up fine.

Wierd.
