Subject: [NTISP] netdom 1.8
I have a broken trust relationship between a BDC and a PDC caused by
a hard drive crash and restore. Normally netdom.exe will correct this problem.
Unfortunately netdom 1.7 is what is distributed and this does not work with
SP4 as outlined by Microsoft at
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q197/1/60.asp
The fix is to obtain netdom 1.8 directly from Microsoft ( not distributed at
this time
because it has not been regression tested) for a $195.00 incident charge.
Has anyone else ran across this situation and maybe already received a copy of
V1.8 that they may share? Any help would be appreciated.
