"assoc .log" from an cmd prompt will tell you what's associated with the
..log extention.

Does anyone know a way to detect whether a file has an association forit inWindows95/98 from a batch file? I need to know if a certain extensionsuchas .log is associated on a given machine by running a batch file.

Any ideas?
