[RadiusNT] user doesn't authenticate

I have a real baffler here:

I have an admin who cannot dial into our network using the username/password
on his complimentary dial-up account. We use Access and ODBC. When he logs
in with his username/password, it asks for his username/password over and
over again. Further, nothing shows up in the logfile -- nothing. If we
purposely misspell his username, the entry will show in the logfile, but
with his username, djamieson, it absolutely will not work. This admin can
use any of our subscriber's account, including a guest account we have,
without fail.

We have checked and triple-checked the database entry. And if we put
RadiusNT into debug mode, it will work. But it will not work when running
normal or as a service.

This account has been this way for month. The admin simply uses the guest
account for access, but it would be nice to find the problem.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Dave
