We use backup exec on the nt sql server that has the database. It does a
complete backup from 10pm to 8am, and at certain times there are odbc
timeout errors from radius. You suggest backing up in a different manner?
If so please advise. The database is rather large. Around 600 Megs.
Thanks

You can use the text backup mode, but I would be curious why you need
it to switch over? A dump of your database should only take seconds,
and does not prevent your database from being used during that time.
