It seems there is some revision confusion.

2.5.287 is what I get for a version number on the Emerald splash screen
after having installed the released (and working) version.

The one exhibiting the bizarre behavior returns 2.5.0288 (right click,
Properties, Version) and is incorrectly named Emerald25_278.zip. This is
the one in the Updates directory. (shouldn't this be classified as beta
instead of an update?)

Hope this helps clear things up.

BTW, I just noticed the name change, Sheryl. Congrats!
