Right-click on Emerald.exe (and EmerAdmn.exe) choose properties, then
version. They both display: 2.05.0288
Emerald.exe: Friday, May 28, 1999 11:24:30 AM
1,161,728 bytes
EmerAdmn.exe: Friday, May 28, 1999 11:19:34 AM
1,518,080 bytes

I ran the Emerald.exe file and got a window I've never seen before:
ODBC Logon
Connection Values
DSN:
UID:
Password: (this doesn't hide the password with ********)
Database:
Driver:
Server:

If I fill out the appropriate info, a tiny window pops up that says
"Tallahassee" OK. Click on OK, then another tiny window pops up that says
"UnKnown" OK. Click on OK, then the tiny window and the big (ODBC Logon)
window disappear, but Emerald never comes up. All other versions of 2.5
(through .285) start without any problems and start with the familiar logon
screen.
