I've been having the following errors with the Emerald database
Msg 2558, Level 16, State 2
Extent not within segment: Object 1132531068, indid 1 includes extents =
on allocation page 15616 which is not in segment 1.
and I received this advice from a 3rd party:
1) run "bcp" procedure to make flatfile copy of database on different =
server
2) copy MSSQL folder to a different server
3) run "dbcc checkdb repair_allow_data_loss" with Radius in text mode, =
since it might take awhile
--If checkdb procedure messes things up worse, "roll back" the changes
Does this seem like prudent advice to you?
