As in copied the data or setup replication between the two machines?
Replication is not something I would recommend unless you are very
familiar and experienced with SQL Server.

You can start SQL Server in minimal mode by going into the
control panel, services, find the MS SQL Server entry, entering
"-f" in the command line options text box in the bottom and clicking
start. You SHOULD stop your SQL Sexecutive service before starting
SQL in minimal mode.
