I am trying to set up a static ip for a customer.. i have set up emerald
with the below settings and can call into my ascen max unit ok and get the
right ip address but i can not ping anything further than that max unit. do
i need to assign that ip to a pool in the max unit i have three units and
the call could come in on any of the units so what happens when if i set
pools to the ascend units with the same ip's?

Here are the minimum settings that we use for our static IP accounts
(obviously changing the IP address to whatever it needs to be).

User-Service Framed-User
Framed-Protocol PPP
Framed-Address 123.123.123.123
Framed-Netmask 255.255.255.255

No IPs need to be added to the Max. Generally speaking you should only have
the IP pools mentioned in the Max.
