Call Consolidation

Do I have to stop RadiusNT when running call consolidation? I'm
running Emerald 2.2.38 and the call consolidation process is taking an
abnormal amount of time (like forever?) In SQLexec it shows "Extent Lock -
Exclusive". Also, I can't kill the process do I have to restart my SQL
server? Will the database become corrupted?
