Is it possible for sa (dbo) to take ownership of an existing SQL table
owned by "johndoe"? If this can't be done, is the only other option to
create a new table as sa/dbo and transfer the data from one table to the
other?

MSSQL Server 6.5 SP4 on Intel based NT4 SP3

Thanks for any info...
