I was wondering if Emerald 2.5 will support charging hours on a Quarterly
basis. What I mean for this is that if a client ops to pay quarterly for a
metered package, instead of sending a statement each month for each month's
use, we add the total of the 3 months together and then determine any
additional charges.
Example:
Client A wants a 50 hour account charged quarterly.
he uses 75 hours first month, 50 hours next month and 25 hours the 3rd month.
Since the total of the quarter =< the total allowed per quarter (150 Hours)
there are no additional charges.
We have been charging our customers this way manually and would like to know
if EMS 2.5 will have this in the final version. It would help us out alot
since we would finally be able to invoice clients via E-Mail when they are on
quarterly charges.
Also when a client pays for an annual subscription, they also work under the
quarterly charges for any additional hours used.
