Its easy to do with SQL Server (you can modify the trigger) but
would require code change to RadiusNT to work with Accesss. This
may be added in the future, since the SessionID is required for
the SNMP concurrency control and the MAX as well.

Recently, we upsized our Radius database to MS SQL Server.

We want to use the concurrency control feature... does itwork properly with RadiusNT v2.5124?

....shouldn't we only have to populate the ServerPorts with ServerID and Port information... and the manual calls update will take care of the rest...?

Is this the correct way to have concurrency controlwith MS SQL? Anything I'm missing...? does it workcorrectly in RadiusNT v2.5124?

(In the past, with RadiusNT v2.2... it wouldn't work properly... we were using Access... RadiusNT would lock-out accounts that attempted multiple logins.. which was a nightmare... it would think they were stilllogged on... until we cleared out the ServerPorts table.)

Please reply! :)

Is there any way to set a Framed-Address based on the serverport that theuser is connecting to?

I've run into a slight problem, and I'm wondering if i'm missing anobvious way of doing this. I'm trying to migrate from an oldversion of livingston radius on a UNIX box, that has just 3 entries in the users file. A entry for DEFAULT,DEFAULT, Prefix "P" and DEFAULT, Prefix"T". I'm currently authenticating all our users out of a UNIX passwdfile, and want to get them to migrate into the RadiusNT ODBC database. Theproblem is I don't want to have to enter the account in the database threetimes. I'm a little new to RadiusNT, and Radius in general. Can I just addone entry per user in the RadiusNT database, and then have those users geta PPP session if they type in Pusername or username or Tusername? Or doesanyone have an idea for a better solution ?

Can someone please email me the proper entry in the user file to haveEmerald Radius authenticate all users against the NT Sam file (WinNT40SP3).

We need to get it up and running so we can try it before we fully turn downthe Livingston Radius. Currently we have one default entry that send allauthentication to the NT SAM.
