We just purchased RadiusNT about 2 weeks before 2.5 was released. Is there
any kind of free upgrade period for a month or two after purchasing a
license?

The Server Port Aceess option allows time of day restrictions.
You need to upgrade to RadiusNT 2.5 for this option.
