Hi, hope someone can help.
We are currently authenticating our users from the Access Database =
provided in the package. We have leased bandwidth and Ascend 4004 boxes =
from a third party (none of this equipment is on our premises).
Anyway, to cut to the chase:
We are successfully authenticating, but no accounting records are being =
generated in the database.
I read in the release notes that for calls online I need to populate the =
ServersPorts table. Due to my lack of familiarity with the ascend =
product I am looking for a little help on this one.
I do have a series of IP addresses for each call in line, but I am not =
sure how the ports are numbered.
I have dns entries as follows for these dial-up lines
city1-1 222.222.222.222
city1-2 222.222.222.223
etc.
I have entered the data in the serversports table as follows:
ServerID =3D2 (as corresponds in the servers table)
port =3D 1 (just guessing!)
IPAddress =3D 222.222.222.222
