By the minute. But these little seconds could add to up several minutes.

Hmmm.

Dale, if AcctSessionTime isn't supposed to be that accurate ( as you stated
in the last email ), then the user will be deprived of some online time when
I turn on TimeBanking. Is this correct ?

Or does TimeBanking take into consideration the value of AcctDelayTime ?

And given your formula for AcctSessionTime, should I ask the RRAS developers
to use AcctDelayTime in computing for an accurate AcctSessionTime ?

Dale,
It was never installed as a service.. I had been running it in -x15
mode
until yesterday when my business partner decided to log off all of the
machines
and then people started calling complaining that they could not get online
(What
a concept) and I decided the time to set it up as a service was upon me.

The RadiusNT 2.5 announcement stated that SNMP verification was now =

Can you provide a list of NAS's that are supported by this ? In our case =
we have Portmaster 2's and 3's, Ascend MAX 4000's and a few USR TC-16's.

I have theauthentication back up but I can't get accounting to work. Debug modeshows me authentication requests but no accounting requests. The MAXset up has not been touched in the area of authorization or accounting,I have just added some names to the MAX Names/Passwords table. In debugging the problems I changed several tables in my fullyfunctional 2.2 Acess database (cloned from your Radius22.mdb file) tomatch the distributed Radius97.mdb configuration. This included theaddition of RadRoam... tables, the addition of RadVendor... elements toseveral existing tables and renaming the Element NASPort to Port in theServer... tables and related queries & reports.I also added the documented registry entries that were not added by thenew Admin GUI and set the values accordingly.I am out of ideas and could use some direction as to where to direct mydebugging efforts. I populated thedatabase with some basic information as per the manual. I then installed Radius and configured the comms server name, ip address etc.I then fired up emerald and entered a MBR information. When clicking onsave, the error box came up telling me the scrip didn't work. Tried a fewtimes more with same result.Returned to emerald administrator and ran the Check Database option. Therewere at least 10 errors in succession, none of which were corrected. Thereason being it could not find a rptables.scp (or something similar).I tried deleting the database and emerald said it had been. I triedcreating the database and it couldn't. I then used SQL Ent. Mgr. anddeleted the emerald device manually. Now every time I try to install the database, Emerald freezes solid. Itsucceeds in creating the emerald.dat file but then freezes.I thought I was progressing well until then .I have printed the Emerald documentation and followed it religiously. Themissing parts are most annoying - particular installing RadiusNT. Is therea "full" version of the docs available?http://www.iea-software.com/emerald/www.iea-software.com/emerald/einstall.html which is supposed to be the url for your emerald installationinstructions is returning a 404 Error and is not helping me resolve myproblem.I am anxious to get the program up and running. The credit card detailswill be coming shortly - obviously when I get it running. There are two more other things that are more annoying at present. In the emerald database you have limited the State field to two characters. Can I manually adjust the database field for 3 which applies here inAustralia. The other problem is with credit cards. We have Bankcard downhere. Can that be easily added to the database and is there any validitychecking done on the card number.
