IMHO, I have to agree with Jeff. Helps alot getting people on line fast.

On this note, has Radius 2.5 been developed for the Alpha machine yet....

Anyone know why Emerald reports a higher number of users online than there
actually are? These users appear to be accumulating time as well even
though they are not actually on. What is this doing to the accounting data?
Will that customer be billed for time they didn't actually spend on-line?
What is the fix?

Hi!

I would like to know how can I assign a static IP Address to a user with
radius NT. I use Radius NT 1.16 with SQL server (ODBC mode)

thanks!

Insert a row into the RadConfigs table and set the following column's to
these values:

AcctId = account ID of user
RadAttributeID = 8
Data = the IP address you want to assign the user.

Yes. We actually have much better support for the Alpha now, including
a full install and RadiusNT administrator. I don't have the full package
ready to do, but I will send you the executable to try.

The on-line is based on the stop record and the current date/time. Theactually billing is based on the stop record, which includes the exacttime on from the NAS.

One thing you can do to help this situation, is make sure you have thenew trigger that I posted to the list a while back. It correctly handles out of order accounting records, which is the main causefor something like this.
