I've had a quick look through the v2.2 (and 2.5) docs and I can't see
that RadiusNT supports what I want to do. Which is :-

Authorisation to specific devices to be controlled by membership of =

NT SAM groups. E.g. for Cisco router A you would need to be a member =

of CiscoGlobalGroupA, for Cisco router B CiscoGlobalGroupB etc. Is =

this possible with RadiusNT? (It looks like it is with Steel-Belted =

Radius)

What is the maximum value Radius will recognize in the
MaxSessionLength field of the ServerAccess table? I have
some "no time limit" accounts. Leaving the field empty
makes it default to 4005 seconds. Setting it to 0 gives
them no time online. I tried setting it to 2592000 (1 month
= 30 days * 24hrs * 60 min * 60 secs) but then in debug mode
it shows -29440 seconds allowed.

Hi Dale

i'm running radiusNT 2.5.107 with a Computone PowerRack and a USR
Totalcontrol, now everithing is running well with the Totalcontrol but when
radius receives the stop record from the computone it gives me the following
error

ODBC Error:23000:-1053:
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft access 97 driver] Index or index or primary key
cant contain null value

What could be wrong with the data base?

I had the Powerrack working on an other radius server runing RadiusNT 1.49
and it was working well.

Thanks in advance

In the RadAttributes table, change the name of Attribute #4
from NAS-IP-Address to NAS-Identifier. That should fix the problem.

The exact error message from radius -x15 was...

ODBC: SQLExecDirect Error -1053: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft
Access 97 Driver] Index or primary key can't contain a Null value.

You need to include the whole request (or atleast the whole SQL statement)
for us to detrmine more about the error. You can go into Access and
add a default value for each of the primary key fields and that should
help resolve most of these problems.

Currently RadiusNT does not have group support for NT SAM authentication. You would have to use ODBC mode and the Server Port Access option toaccomplish this.

When I do the Manual Calls Update, it brings up Dr. Watson :-(

The SQL Statement is

INSERT INTO calls (CallDate,AcctStatusType,AcctDelayTime,UserName,NasPort,AcctSessionID,AcctAuthentic,UserService,AcctSessionTime,FramedProtocol,FramedAddress,AcctinputPackets,AccountOutputPackets, AcctInputOctets,Acctoutputoctets)Values(Now(),2,60,'userlogin',8,'19.08.0',1,2,105,1,'204.179.74.48',46,42,3453,31629)

ODBC Error:23000:-1053:[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft access 97 driver] index or primary keycan't contain null value

i'm also geting other error :

SQL statement: INSERT INTO RadLogs(RadLogMsgID, LogDate, UserName, Data)VALUES (11, Now, 'userlogin', 'password')

ODBC Error:23000:-1605:[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft access 97 driver] The Changes you requested tothe table where not succesfull because they would create duplicate values inthe index, primary key, or relationship. change the data in the field orfields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the indexto permit duplicate entries and try again

But this is hapenning only with the computone PowerRack and not with theTotalcontrol and they are authenticating in the same radius ...

I have checked the database over and over

the primary key fields for calls areNasidentifier, nasport, acctsesionID,acctsessiontype, calldate

Thanks in advance

This is a known problem with 1.16.60. Upgrade to RadiusNT 2.2 or higher and it will work.

If the debug right above the SQL Statement includes a NAS-IP-Addressattribute (#4) then go into your RadAttributes table and change thename of attribute #4 from NAS-IP-Address to NAS-Identifier and restartRadiusNT. > i'm also geting other error :> > SQL statement: INSERT INTO RadLogs(RadLogMsgID, LogDate, UserName, Data)> VALUES (11, Now, 'userlogin', 'password')> > ODBC Error:23000:-1605:> [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft access 97 driver] The Changes you requested to> the table where not succesfull because they would create duplicate values in> the index, primary key, or relationship. change the data in the field or> fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index> to permit duplicate entries and try again> > But this is hapenning only with the computone PowerRack and not with the> Totalcontrol and they are authenticating in the same radius ...

This isn't a big deal. By default, the date field in the RadLogstable is only to the minute. This prevents someone from filling upyour database by continulally giving bad errors. You can change thedata to a more accurate one that includes seconds if you want all ofthem.
