Replacing passwords from the NT SAM

What is the "Proper" way to auth against the NT SAM so that it captures and
replaces the users passwords. We are successfully authenticating against
it now but the passwords are not being replaced (we have the flag checked
in RadiusNT for password replace). I believe I may have removed one to
many reg keys when setting it up at first. We are running with RRAS and
RadiusNT v2.5.105
