RadiusNT and dns

Our company purchased your product RadiusNT, now we are experiencing a
problem with everytime we down our DNS our users won't authenticate. our
DNS server is on a seperate machine and to our knowledge nothing in RadiusNT
points to the DNS. Do you know what might be causing this and a potential
solution
