Limits of IIS4?

We have NT4 (SP3) and IIS4 on a machine running about 30 sites.

I have added more IPs to the NIC and that went fine. Now I want to set up
the sites using the management console. The problem is that it will not show
about 20 IPs that I have bound to the nic. The IPs are pingable but the
management console does not see them..

What would cause this?
