Message first sent 7/14/98;

Dale,

We are getting more and more people that are using MPP with 2 channels
open at a time.
Now with Win98 we have customers that use there second line with call
waiting on it, so when they get a call the second modem disconnects and it
rings through and they get the phone call AND use the computer. They really
love it. Good speed and not high cost.

Anyway, I know that there a way to restrict the use of an account by
time BUT is there a way to restrict the use of a second channel by time.
When we are at our busiest between, 7 and 10 PM, they could only use 1
channel but could use 2 at other times.

Ed

The Cisco is not passing the Framed-Address information to the Emerald Software. Do You know what commands I need to make this success?

Thank in advance

Two questions:1) Does anyone know about a Y2K bug with ICVerify v1.04? It seams to berejecting all CC's with 00 date codes.

2) I know that Emerald 2.1.11 doesn't support batch in for ICVerify. Hasanyone made some sort of converter that will convert the batch file into aformat which Emerald will understand? (I know.. Wait for Emerald 2.5...but.. It's really starting to be a pain to go through all of those creditcards clicking pay and double checking and such...)

Will this mess up emerald? I don't recall if Emeralddoes Pre-Procession on checking Credit Card Dates and such... I suppose in2.5 Dale will have the BatchOut for ICVeryify to automaticly re-verse thenumbers for us... :)

Hi

Lately we have noticed that we are having problems with lost records.

We will enter a user into Emerald and then for some reason after savingthem, they disappear somewhere. Although our MBRs used number says theyshould still be in there. Anyone else had this problem?

If you're closing out of the newly created MBR before creating/saving anyservices (subaccounts), the next time you search for that MBR, you won'tfind it unless you uncheck "Search services also."

One other thing, anyone know what causes an Emerald error 48 error loadingdll

I was going to reply to the first part, but was going to do someresearch on it first. I remember someone else reporting this (yymm)format requirement as well.

Emerald does NOT do pre-procesing of the CC expire besides thefollowing:

1) removall non numeric characters2) if the length if 3, then prepend a zero (for those 6/99 type entries).

Other than that, it passes the resulting string to the CC system forprocessing. Therefore, just reverse the numbers and make sure you entera 0 in front of the month (like 0005 not 005) and it will work fine.

The MBRs and Services just disappear, although the MBR count looks like theyare still there. It's happened about 5 times in the last couple of days.

You would have to modify the Payment report to not include paymentsassociated to voided invoices.

Cisco does not pass the frame-address in the start record... only in an =update record and the stop record.
