I was going to reply to the first part, but was going to do some
research on it first. I remember someone else reporting this (yymm)
format requirement as well.

Emerald does NOT do pre-procesing of the CC expire besides the
following:

1) removall non numeric characters
2) if the length if 3, then prepend a zero (for those 6/99 type
entries).

Other than that, it passes the resulting string to the CC system for
processing. Therefore, just reverse the numbers and make sure you enter
a 0 in front of the month (like 0005 not 005) and it will work fine.
