Using Emerald 2.2.38

We seem to be missing some of our valid customer's credit cards when doing
a batch job for them.

We have customers with good CC numbers, who are due to be invoiced and have
their credit cards charge. Yet when when create the batch invoicing for
them, they are being left out and their credit cards are not getting charged.

1. Anyone know what could be cause this?

2. Do we need to have incremental batch checked off in the Emerald Client
Preferences? (currently it is not)

3. Is there anything they we should have checked in the Emerald Client
Preferences?

Thank you.

Ciao.

We have used emerald for about a year. We got a serious problem right
now.
Emerald reported "You are over your liscened number of Master Billing
Records.
You are liscend for 500 and have 503.

Because we can not delete a lot of junk accounts, the accounting person
accidently input a couple of new accounts, so we are using more than
500 MBR. Can you help me to fix the problem.

First we would like to use the emerald, then we would like to be able to
delete
the junk account. (We do not have the buget to get new license yet, we
will upgrade a litlle late)

Thanks a lot for your help.

HI & HELP HELP HELP

Emerald 2.2.38
CR 6

We have had problems in the past with 2.2.38 Printing invoices. It would
print the Top on the Following Invoice on the Bottom of the first one.

We worked around this by printing invoices from a machine with 2.1.11 and
all was well.

PROBLEM: IT QUIT WORKING...

I dl'd the CR6 Invoice and tried it on 2.2.38 and it will not work. Is
there a file I need to copy to the machine printing invoices to make CR6 work?

It's the end of our billing period and we NEED to get the bills out.

Please Help
Thanks

Check you dates. You will have to change to date at the end of last mo.
to pick up the charges.

Are you doing incremental batch, if so yes. But there is a bug in some
that that will not stick and you have to go to the regisrty to fix.

No just do a couple of dates and make sure that there in not an
outstanding/unpaid invoice.

Make sure they pay method is CC and that they have the Auto Bill option
checked in the credit card section.

No.

If its billing some of your customers, then the client config is
correct.
Most likely its a problem with the config of those cutomers that
wont bill.

Me again

Using the CR6 invoice.rpt

On a machine that once had Emerald 2.5.?? loaded on it, (we have revertedback to 2.2.38) the invoices do print, but the problem with the invoicesstill exist.

On the top of the invoice the number & amount are correct. The bottom ofthe invoice has the NEXT NUMBER & THE AMOUNT FROM THE NEXT INVOICE.

ie: Top has number 9523 and amount 21.05 Bottom has number 9524 and amount 63.14Next invoice Top has 9524 & 63.14 Bottom 9525 & 21.05etc, etc, etc...

We can NOT use the CR5 invoice.rpt because we don't have CR5 to edit theform we DO have CR6.

The Auto Bill Options are checked.

For instance, one customer was bill earlier in July for the month of July(invoice created and paid via CC) his balance was $0.00. Then his secondinvoice was created on the 23rd of July for Aug, but his credit card wasnot batched out so that it could be charged.

His account shows Paid Thru 8/1/98 and it is to expire on the same date8/1/98.

Why wasn't his card batched out?

Thank you.

I don't know if Ciscos are like Ascend in this matter or not, but with ourAscend Maxes, you have to enable "Shared Profiles". Maybe the Cisco hassomething similar that needs to be set??

Use the inv50.rpt file, as it will correct 6this. > We can NOT use the CR5 invoice.rpt because we don't have CR5 to edit the> form we DO have CR6.

Then use the 6.0 one. The problem you refer to above is with theoriginal invoice.rpt, not the newer ones.

Use the inv50.rpt with a 2.2.38 installation. It only has the 5.0 engine included.

Alan, Make SURE that there's not an outstanding invoice for that customer, thatgot me a couple of times.

And you probably DO want "Incremental Batch" checked unless you want to runbilling for the entire month. We run cash invoices once/week, for expirations upto a month from "today" CCs are batched out twice/week, usually Tuesday andFriday.

I assumed you went in, edited the services, went to the radiustab, and added User-Service, Framed-Protocol and Framed-Address(atleast)to the user's RADIUS attributes list?

Using RadiusNT 2.5, you can either use the ServerPort Access (if yourISDN is on a different NAS than the async) or the Chack Attributes. The Check Attributes is the easiest if your NAS returns the NAS-Port-type in the authentication request. If So, then you canhave two account types, one PPP and one ISDN, with the PPP havinga check attribute of NAS-Port-Type = Async and the ISDN having acheck attribute of NAS-Port-Type = ISDN.

Does PM-3 return NAS-Port-type in authentication request?
