Call History only shows the cycles that have been consolidated. If
you have not ran any consolidation, no records will be there. You
probably are wanting to look under the Time On tab to see the users
current time on information.

Hi,

I don't have the consolidation stored procedure. I have Emerald 2.2installed and using .38 for Emerald and .31 for Admin. I found out in debugmode "consolidation 1" is called, but it brings an error. There is no suchprocedure in Emerald database...What can I do to fix this?

Wally

I do see that you have ack'ed 37 accounting packets. If you cancapture an accounting session it should look similiar to the following:Sending Accounting Ack of id 83 to d1404c05 (BM2)Resp Time: 15 Auth: 0/0 -> 0 Acct: 2328/400/800 -> 3528radrecv: Request from host d1404c05 code=4, id=85, length=211 Acct-Session-Id = "02010154" User-Name = "mstearns" NAS-Identifier = 209.64.76.5 NAS-Port = 6 Acct-Status-Type = Start Acct-Authentic = RADIUS Vendor-Specific = "" Vendor-Specific = "" Vendor-Specific = "" Vendor-Specific = "" Vendor-Specific = "" Vendor-Specific = "" Vendor-Specific = "" Vendor-Specific = "" NAS-Identifier2 = "BM2" NAS-Port-Type = Async User-Service = Framed-User Framed-Protocol = PPP Framed-Address = 209.64.76.63 Acct-Delay-Time = 0 SQL Statement: INSERT INTO Calls(CallDate,AcctSessionId,UserName,NASIdentifier,NASPort,AcctStatusType,NASPortType,UserService,FramedProtocol,FramedAddress,AcctDelayTime) VALUES(GetDate(),'02010154','mstearns','209.64.76.5',6,1,0,2,1,'209..64.76.63',0) Notice the trigger that takes this packet and perfroms the INSERT intoCalls? Now I changed my paramaters to default to show you that you willget several Vendor Specific Null values which can be useful for othermeans, but to accomplish what you want here is a default USR TC and baseRadius NT/Emerald config. On this chassis I am having a slight problemwith accounting packets being sent to the accounting server or the updatetrigger is not working, which I have asked Dale and the list about a fewdays ago. So, if this user expires on 8/1/98 (12:00am), entering in avalue of 7 for the "Limit" (ma.OverDue), the user will be able toauthenticate up to 8/8/98 (12:00am).In Emerald 2.1.11, this grace period is defaulted to zero when an MBR iscreated, so you'll have to manually enter in a number when you first createthe account. If you have several accounts and have never used this before, but want them to have a grace period of a week or whatever, you can use thefollowing script to take care of existing accounts: UPDATE MasterAccounts SET OverDue = 7 WHERE OverDue < 7Every once-in-a-while, I run that in case someone here forgot to enter inthe grace period into someone's account when it was created. The "Extend" field (MasterAccounts.Extension) is a temporary extension thatappends to the "Limit" value. This value (if entered in) is reset to zeroas soon as the most current Renewal invoice is paid.Josh Hillmanhillman@talstar.com> -----Original Message-----> From: emerald-request@iea-software.com> [mailto:emerald-request@iea-software.com]On Behalf Of Dale Reed> Sent: Wednesday, July 01, 1998 9:31 PM> To: emerald@iea-software.com> Subject: Re: Dale or other 2.1.11 experts,> > > Ed and Kathy Tate wrote:> >> > Dale or other 2.1.11 experts,> >> > We are running Emerald 2.1.11 and are preparing to start Radius> > authentication. Thats what is messing you up. Atrustedconnection requires that you login as someone who is known and mappedto a SQL Server user.-- Dale E. If so, how does it work? Thanks. The setup charge is not fully functional in 2.2. You still need toadd it manually. IT will show up on their first invoice, as long as you create it prior to creating the first invoice.-- Dale E.
