Try installing Emerald 2.2 on a machine and seeing if that will email the
invoices correctly.

We have the occasional problem with e-mail. The solution is to go intothe InvoiceItems table and shorten the description of the charge. As soonas this is complete, the e-mail is sent without any problems.

Delete, then re-create the invoice, but try a shorter description.Hopefully this will work for you. --------------------------------------#------------------------------------ David Khoury | "Where's the KABOOM ?? In the event of bad crashes like this, I would recommend creating afresh database and using the DB transfer to copy the data into a knownclean database. This may be an identity problem, though. Tryrunning the DBCC CheckIdent(SubAccounts) and see if it correctsthe problem (its one of the lines in the checkdb.sql file).

checkident fixed. I'm still running sql 6.0 (not by choice). Is the"dbtransfer" you mentioned not an option with 6.0 or is it just a script??

I believe if you just right click on the Emerald database in enterprise manager you'll see the transfer cmd.

Actually, under 6.0, I believe it was its own program called SQLTranfer Manager in the program group. In 6.5, its a part of theEnterprise Manager.
