Just a reminder: MailSite (http://www.rockliffe.com/mailsite.htm) integrates
with Emerald 2.5 out of the box today. We built in a native ODBC connector to
authenticate against Emerald without requiring an external DLL.

List,

I am looking for input on how or whether the 'Limit' or 'Extend' fields
work in conjunction with Emerald 2.1.11. If you are currently using or
attempted to use these fields with this version, could you possibly share
with me what you learned?

Thanks,

Kathy Tate

I am unable to clear calls from the online table. I have restarted the SQL
services and rebooted the machine to no avail. What am I doing wrong? I
keep getting an SQL error everytime I try and clear a call.

My custom reports tab has disappeared from the reports section. I am also
unable to view other reports, other than the defered revenue report, in the
drop down box. The reports are on the client machine located in the Emerald
root directory.

Its most likely a permissions problem. Can you clear the call if you
login as sa?

Emerald looks in the global report path to find the reports. If it cannot find any reports, it hides the custom report tab. Check yourglobal reports path.

Hello all.

I am have a bit of difficulty. On Emerald administrator when I go tothe radius defaults and try to add any new attibutes, I get this errorcoming back when I go to save it: "SQL Server Error: 213 insert error: Column name or number of suppliedvalues does not match table definition State = 4, Severity = 16"

I did not have this problem until after I applied the rad25_up.sqlfile to the database to be able to run the 2.5 version of Radius.

The Emerald 2.2 administrator should work w/out this problem.

Use something like this:

Update SubAccountsSet HomeDir = '\\server\share\' + loginWhere Login IS NOT NULL and login <> ' '

I have always recommened SQL SP3. I've head that SP4 is a must for "large"databases, but don't have a definition of what "large" means.
