For Emerlad 2.2, on the batch tab, select the summary butotn. This showsthe records needing to be batched. You will generally work your way downfrom the largest number on the left, not the one in (), and go down.

Dear List,

We have a new utility, based on code extracted from our inhouse ISPmanagement package. It's an Emerald(tm) to SAM Conversion utility. It letsyou choose from a list of all login names in your SubAccounts Table, choosesome or all of the accounts, and add the users, with there passwords, and adescription to a local NT server, or Domain Accounts Database. You can alsosyncronize the password between emerald and the SAM. The product is now inopen beta, and anyone who want to try the beta product between now and June30, is welcome. A release version will be available on or before 6/30/1998.

You can download this from:ftp://ftp.centramedia.net/distrib/beta/EMTOSAB1.zip

Please feel from to send any questions, or thoughts to troy@centramedia.net

Thanks,

Troy Locke

Hi All,

I am trying to create my first batch of invoices for accounts expiring inJune. I did a consolidation, then a create with a date of 6/1/98, selectingrenewal. Although there are accounts expiring in June, I receive the message"no new invoices to create." I'm running 2.2.38. Can anyone help? Thanks

Thanks. It seems I had to check Incremental Batch to get my June invoices. But now when 6/1/98 is entered I get all of June instead of "up to" the dateentered. If I understand the documentation I should have created invoicesfor the 6/1/98 expirations only. Also, when Incremental Batch wasn't checkedI should have received all of June. I must be missing something.

I'm sorry everyone. When I save preferences with Incremental Batch checked, and go back into preferences, it is no longer checked. Now why does thishappen?

Are you changing the date to today's date (or the date the invoiceswere created)? Using a future date to print will almost always getyou a blank invoice, because there were no invoices created in thefuture (yet). :)

Use the 2.1 administrator. This is only a bug in the Emerald 2.2 Admin.

Emerald 2.2 and lower looks for three files (in its current working directory)when e-mailing invoices:

inhead.txtinvbody.txtinvfoot.txt

head/foot go at the top/bottom of the email. body goes between the customerinformation and the actual line items.

Most likely the problem is the "type" of external system. Go intothe Admin, and change the type from standard/export to NTMail.

You just need to make sure you port the server correctly. Select Maxascend for the server and ports to 48 and click re-port. If that isall setup, then most likely there is a problem with your trigger.

Okay I went in and checked. I don't have a selection for MAX 4048, theclosest is MAX 4000. Also, under server ports. Do I need to set anythingfor the IP address? Our MAX dynamically assigns IPs to it's ports. I triedsetting it to 4000 and 48 ports and setting the IP to the base IP for theterm server but I still get no info from emerald on that server.-----Original Message-----From: Dale E. I just flipped over to the emerald online docs. Is there any moreinformation on configuring the terminal server to send info to Emerald viaRadius? There were no specifics as to what Radius needs to do this. Doesit need SNMP access?-----Original Message-----From: Dale E. And of course make sure you have accounting setup in the Max !

Otherwise, there will be no data sent as far as people online that Iknow of.
