It appears to be controlled by a setting in the emerald admin program, click
on radius server then click on the login-host setting and make sure it is
set to IP ADD. I had it set to string for some unknown reason and it was
coming in looking like passwords do when I turned on the debug options. Once
I saw it wasn't looking like an IP address I figured out what was causing it.
