Does this script work?

I am needing to email all my accounts to notify them of our new access
number.

Works fine. You must download a copy of 'blat' which is available through
several popular download sites including www.winfiles.com

To All,

In a last few days I noticed several times that I have a user with no
name loged in. I don't remember making any changes to Radius. What can I
check and what can I do to prevent this from happening?

With RadiusNT 2.2, its possible to login as a username of a "space"
and a correct password. RadiusNT 2.5 with the trimname feature will
prevent this. You can also prevent this by running the following snipet
against your Emerald database every once in a while. The problem is by
default, a string of "" (zero length) is expanded to a string with a
space, and not NULL.

Update SubAccounts
Set Login = NULL
Where Login = ' '
Go

Update SubAccounts
Set Shell = NULL
Where Shell = ' '
Go

Update SubAccounts
Set EMail = NULL
Where EMail = ' '
Go

No, but its based on this report:

ftp://ftp.iea-software.com/Emerald/reports/newbywk.rpt

which shows the news users per day.

Hi, I am trying to find out if there is a way to extend the password lengthto greater than 12 characters. I have hundreds of existing customers thathave passwords that are 13 to 16 characters long. Can someone help?

Hi guys.

I am using livingston PM3 and it seems their new comOS now likes to sendaccounting packs to radius whenever someone telnets into the PM3 (wonderfulfeature without a friggin off switch).

Anyway, I managed to setup a NASPort default so the stupid things at leastget a response and stop sending the packets repeatedly.

Now I'm trying to get the radius database to actually log something usefulabout these. I have it logging the entries but it wouldn't log theLogin-Host parameter that the portmaster sends back, so I modified some ofthe tables as follows:

ALTER TABLE CallsAdd LoginHost varchar (16) NULL DEFAULT NULLGO

ALTER TABLE ServerPortsAdd LoginHost varchar (16) NULL DEFAULT NULLGO

if exists (select * from sysobjects where id =3Dobject_id('dbo.calls_insert') and sysstat & 0xf =3D 8) drop trigger dbo.calls_insertGO

CREATE TRIGGER calls_insert ON dbo.Calls=20FOR INSERTAS UPDATE ServerPorts Set sp.UserName =3D i.UserName, sp.AcctStatusType =3D i.AcctStatusType, sp.CallDate =3D DateAdd(Second, 0-i.AcctDelayTime, i.CallDate), sp.FramedAddress =3D i.FramedAddress, sp.ConnectInfo =3D i.ConnectInfo, sp.CallerID =3D i.CallerID, sp.LoginHost =3D i.LoginHost FROM Servers s, ServerPorts sp, inserted i WHERE s.IPAddress =3D i.NASIdentifier AND s.ServerID =3D sp.ServerID AND sp.Port =3D i.NASPort AND sp.CallDate <=3D DateAdd(Second, 0-i.AcctDelayTime, i.CallDate)

UPDATE SubAccounts Set sa.TimeLeft =3D sa.TimeLeft - (i.AcctSessionTime/60 + 1) FROM SubAccounts sa, inserted i WHERE sa.login =3D i.UserName and sa.TimeLeft <> NULL and i.AcctStatusType =3D 2GO

But for some reason now it appears to be logging something although I've noidea what? Here is the output I get when I do a query:

loginhost =20 ----------------=20 =A59=8F=96 =20 =A59=8F=96 =20 =A59=8F=96 =20 =A59=8F=96 =20

This obviously doesn't look like the IP address that should appear. Dale, ifyour reading, I sure could use some of the wizardry right about now, my headis starting to hurt.

What does the -x15 debug look for this? It could be that the type for the attribute is incorrect in the RadAttributes table.

If you are running MailSite (http://www.rockliffe.com/mailsite.htm) you couldenter the query directly into the config of the mail list:

Select EmailAddress=sa.email, FullName=''From SubAccounts sa, MasterAccounts maWhere sa.CustomerID = ma.CustomerID AND sa.AccountType = 'PPP' AND ma.PayPeriod = 'Monthly' AND sa.Netsoftware = 'Windows 95'
