Hmmm, you can check out NewsChannel from www.metainfo.com

But do you really need a news server ?

Running your own news server requires quite a sizeable hard disk and memory
requirement for your server.

To get around this penalty, I use WebSense ( www.websense.com ) as a news
proxy to get mail from my ISP. It also lets me control which newsgroups my
customers get to access.

You can also check out WinGate - but I don't think it could filter out
newsgroups.
