Depending on your implementation desires (multiple log file analysis, ad
banner analysis, virtual domains, etc.) Hit List may not fall in to the
"Cheap" parameter. It will, however, do a great job of analysis on your
logs. I have found that it's algorithm for calculating visitors is much
more consistant and reliable than the other offerings out there.

But, if cheap is your main concern, you might look at Web Trends. It's not
bad, and less expensive than Hit List.
