The following should be reported when doing a nslookup on your NT DNS Server

c:\> nslookup

>ls -d yourdomain.com

yourdomain.com. MX 10 mailhost.yourdomain.com
mailhost A 123.456.789.1
www A 123.456.789.1
yourdomain.com. A 123.456.789.1

Your mailer may be referenced via

mail.yourdomain.com

Your website should be able to referenced via

www.yourdomain.com
and yourdomain.com (with no www)

They all run from the same IP address.

I'm not an expert but hopefully that helps.
