I just went to register a domain using the standard one page web form.

I got the message back by email (as usual) and this time it was in one
email, not two as has been usual for me. I sent it off to
hostmaster@internic.net as it requested me to do.

This was the response:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at rs0.clt.internic.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

it isn't in my control/locals file, so I don't treat it as local. (#5.4.6)
