I haven't found diagnostic software that a good tech couldn't out guess.
For the rare occasion, we use "Checkit" (NOT Win Checkit - the DOS version)
or Norton "ndiags.exe".

I have a customer who likes "Nuts & Bolts" by the same company that bought
Mcafee.
