amanda should be able to backup both NT and Linux/other Unixes over a
network.
look at http://www.amanda.org. It's freeware by the way.
Your tape server needs to be a unix one, and NT backups are done through
mounting/connecting the NT drive using Samba.
just in case you didn't know about amanda...
