When they open the dial up networking icon for dialing you, is the checkbox
to allow them to save their password enabled or not? This will tell you if
they are logged in to the windows network or not (in most cases). Did they
ever see the login prompt when they booted the machine? Do they have IE4
installed? Did something change on the system that caused this?
