You're right. But on the USR Total Control hub the equipment is the same
for which ever line you choose to use. If you use the Channelized T1 you'll
get 24 56K X2 capable ports, if you use the PRI you'll only get 23, but you
get the added capability of ISDN on the same equipment.

You plug a T1 or a PRI into the same spot on the box, then you just tell it
which you plugged in. And as far as not buying anything right now because
ITU has made a decision shouldn't affect you either if you run this box,
it's simply a software upgrade and you're done. When I took my box from
33.6 to 56K X2 it took less than 5 minutes.
