You always hear those horror stories about the phone company and think it
can never happen to you.
Ever since we have had our PRI lines we have had nothing but trouble.
PacBell has tested the lines over and over and said that they could find a
problem (besides all of our spares being defective). Yesterday while
walking past the phone poll my boss noticed that our lines had been hit by
a car or truck. We call the phone company and they said "we could not find
anything wrong with your PRI". I insisted on them coming out and low &
behold they find a problem.
It also turns out that this has affected our analog phone lines. And to
think, I thought a 38,000kbps connection speed was normal.
