Unsuccessful login in Emerald

Our client has re-installed Emerald over a perfectly working version.
Emerald now gets unsuccessful login without even asking for a logon.
Emerald admin still works fine, we can edit the database, just Emerald
itself will not load.

I turned on SQL trace and Emerald is not even attempting any SQL requests,
while Emerald admin connects fine. There is nothing wrong with the SQL
server (6.5).

I have delted the database and re-installed Emerald many times and still
the same result?? Emerald gets Unsuccessful Login instantly upon executing
Emerald.exe

Please help.
