Unfortunately, it is SQL Server (not sure if MS Access does the same) to
blame as it cannot accept dates in what we think of as 'normal' format. I
kept my machine's regional settings set to Brisbane, but changed the short
date format to 'MM/dd/yy'. This allows Emerald to work fine. Well, 'fine'
in the Emerald sense of the word. :)
