Try connecting to a drive share first, then start emerald and see if you
still get the invalid password error.
If you don't have any drives shared out, just issue a
net use \\targetserver\ipc$ "" /user:""
where you replace "targetserver" with the IP address of your server, don't
change anything else. Then after it completes try starting emerald.
