vendor-specific and Cisco

Please Help!

We want to assign different address-pools to different user-groups. As
we use cisco-boxes, this is no problem with tacacs+, but the radius
implementation on ciscos is still very poor (as the Ascend-Attributes
are still not supported in 11.2(5)). I=B4ve tried to workaround this usin=
g
the vendor-specific flag of the radius-specification.

The problem now seems to be that the the Vendor-Specific Attribute must
have the vendor-id within the first 4 octets. We want to authenticate
out of the odbc-Database, so it is a problem writing the vendor-id to
the Database.

Does anyone know a solution or workaround for this problem

Thanks,
Martin
